Root Uninstalled EVERYTHING ooops

I accidentally uninstalled everything with Titanium backup. Totally at a looss as to how to get it back up. It starts up with the LG logo, Then the metro splash, then it endlessly plays my bootanimation. That's it. Anyone know how to fix this?

You must be rooted, or you could not uninstall everything. Did you install the custom recovery? If not, you will need the proper apks and a way to access and install these.

If you have it, just grab rom zero and put it on your USB the first visible folder (the first one without a . in front of it) and flash the rom. You'll be okay. There is some information in the sticky thread above, which has the most commonly needed threads.

Okay. I have this---> "recovery-thunderc-m-v1.2.0-GNM"

Is this what you are talking about?

I did root the phone. Got it right the first time. I was looking into finding a way to increase the phone's memory, and with this phones super sensitive touch screen....my finger just brushed the button that caused all this.

Anyway. I think I can put whatever file or app on this phone....but I just don't know how to do that. I have yet to figure out how to get it into recovery mode....I'm so lost. How do I get into the file system from my PC?

Now I have figured out how to interface with the root of my phone. Now....I just can't seem to understand how to both push a launcher(home) and install it. I've tried methods as indicated in other parts of the forum, as well as the adb wiki site.

I try:

adb install aLauncher (1.30).apk

doesn't work, interface replies:

Can't find '(1.30).apk' to install

Tried other methods. If I can interface this phone....then how do I get something in there and installed?

Geez...I'm going to lose my mind. I've been at this since 11:30 last night!!!!!!

Where are all the smart dudes when you need them???

If you have custom recovery installed, you can toggle USB on through the menu and access it that way.

I did this the other day, you don't need to flash.

take out your battery,
turn it on by holding Power+Home+VolDown, you'll see it doing a factory reset.
It will boot up exactly ONE time. To a blank desktop with a notification bar and no menus.
If you reboot, all you will get to is the android logo, thats it looping forever.

Send yourself a text message from another phone with http://www.gmail.com as the content.
In the meantime, download any home launcher apk file and email it to yourself.
When you get the text, tap the link. Now you have a web browser.
get into gmail and download the apk file. When done, install it.
After you have at least 1 home launcher installed, it will reboot fine.
You can now re-install any apps you want.
I would recommend you don't have any incoming calls while you do this, it makes it so you can't access the notification bar when the text comes in.

Don't forget to enable usb debugging afterwards :).
Also it will still be rooted when u boot back up.

That's an excellent application of logic. Thank you for sharing.

I actually figured it out in the early morning when some texted me, commenting on a photo on my facebook. It had a link to facebook which allowed me to access the web, and then in turn going to android market and installing a launcher. I was sweating bullets, but it turned out ok.

Thanks again everyone. :)
