Anyone used this on the Motorola Droid? I've seen that it's not supported but I've also heard that it works just fine. I'd also appreciate any feedback as to if it worked fine and didn't expierence any problems afterwards.
I did it yesterday and it seems to have gone smoothly. Already bought Rom Manager and SetCPU and installed Titanium Backup.
you will love it down here ... lolThis will work with 2.2 right, I'm on the 2.2 OTA.
CONGRATS !!!
and welcome to the land of ROOTyou will love it down here ... lol
Heheheh thanks.. right now I am just working up the courage to install a custom rom.
Nandroid back up I have heard is the best one for backups, but I had an issue getting it to install, i used Titiaium backup from the market, and it worked great, even restored sms messages and call log.Ok I think I've done enough research to feel comfortable with this. One thing I'm unsure about is backing my phone up, and then recovering the backups later if you dislike what you did. If someone could give me the run down on that it would be much appreciated. Also, should I backup first before I Root using Universal Androot. I was just going to root it, install Set CPU and wireless tether and stuff, not mess with any ROM's yet.
