Root Unknown Logo?

I tried to resend an unsent text and my phone went into a random reboot, upon rebooting it came up with a triangle with an exclamation point in it and andy standing out beside it. im guessing this is not anything good, however i did a battery pull and the phone is now working fine. also this happened when using handscent sms.

That's odd ,,the logo you refer to is actually stock recovery ,,,if you were at that point and pressed the hard search key you would get options for stock recovery ,,,this is odd especially from sending an unsent text ,,,what rom and stuff are you running ?,,,if it persists I would wipe data or re install what you have

My question is this... how/why are you messing with anything root if you don't even recognize the recovery screen? scary scary scary.


More than likely this is happening because the bootstrap app drops you at the recovery screen when you reboot sometimes. Most of us see ClockworkMod, as we have flashed to a new recovery. You are seeing stock because you have not.

This is nothing at all to worry about... aside from the fact that you are messing with root and don't know what you are doing.

well i mean i am running clockwork mod and dx bootstrapper. as for a ROM i am running liberty 1.5 with go launcher ex. im about to download another rom sometime soon. probably liberty 2.0 or maybe the new gummyjar.

i havent had any problems with the rom before and i dont it was anything major, just something that needed a little soft reset. i also had the idea of doing a data and cache with if it keeps going. i have been running liberty for about three months and havent had any problems with it at all. as for the stock recovery thing thats rather odd because i have to stock software thanks to the fact that i didnt know you couldnt add spaces in backup names or they dont work lol

You should be able to rename your saved backups again...just take the spaces out of them. Then they should work.
