Unlocking UK Orange Hero

Hi. I have a Hero that was on Orange (latest .66 ROM), but have now upgraded to Sensation. I want to pass the Hero on to my daughter but need to get it unlocked as she is not on Orange. Does anybody know a reliable site I can get an unlock code from that will work please?

Same device, used HTCCode, Hero was unlocked within 10mins of requesting the code. I even got a follow-up email shortly afterwards checking that the unlock had worked.

Not sure if you still need an answer, but it's $20 (USD). I just did it and worked fine, very quick and efficient.

Hi,there are many ways of unlocking like hardware/software unlocking,cable unlocking,remote unlocking and unlocking via codes..the best and safe way of unlocking is by unlock codes..for unlock codes you can try either from your provider or can try from Theunlockarena and get your mobile unlocked..

Be very careful. There appears to be a spate of these types of posts on this site and XDA recommending these types of rip-off unlock sites. I suspect most are spam, or are, at least commission recommendations.
