Yes you can, tested by me, and you will lose that "disable internal" thing

Any apk from any build will work, I think. As long as it's 5.1 lollipop

-Then flash latest buil cm12.1
-Restore backup
You dont need link2sd anymore

You have ms323, right? Basically, that FCing was patched already. However, if it still happens to you, you can look at a thread that says UAYOR obsolete. I believe @LitrosNub posted it.

Nope, still bootloops, I waited for around 15-20 minutes and I am still on the bootanimation screen.

Yes, I wipe all partitions except for storage ones, then I flash the ROM GApps and Facelock, at this point it boots fine and I go through the Setup Wizard after which I try to flash latest Xposed zip file which results in a bootloop.
EDIT: Nevermind It booted after I wiped my SD card redownloaded the files and flashed all over again, however I didn't flash facelock zip this time so that might have been the issue.

Try holding volume down + power while booting and let go of the power button for 1-2 seconds when the lg screen appears then press and hold power button again (never let go of volume down) until a factory reset screen appears, then go to yes 2 times and your device should boot into recovery.
