Help Unofficial froyo, lagfix needed, help!

OK. I recently installed an unofficial FROYO on my phone. It works, but it slowed the phone down. How do I install a lagfix? I was told to use Tayutama One Click Lag Fix!!! - xda-developers before, but I have no idea where to start. I'm not very tech savvy (i need step by step instructions).

I need the lag fix because, even though the quadrant scores are higher, the phone is much slower now. Please tell me where to start on that link, or give me a better one! I don't care if I have to root.

What ROM did you flash exactly? Mostly all the up to date ROMs have lag fix pre-installed

If you are not very tech savvy, you should just flash the cognition 3.04 rom. It's pretty stable and will automatically install the voodoo lagfix. There's also a 3 part youtube video series on how to install the cognition roms.

Uh... I have no idea what any of that means.... I did put a lagfix on and rooted though. RyanZa from xda. One touch LF and the z4 root. Not very impressed.

Keep reading until you do figure out what it all means, otherwise you'll be back here asking how to un brick your phone because you messed something up.
