Root unroot help for a newbie?

Hello. I recently went from stock 2.1 to rooted froyo running sapphire 0.7.0 and I would like to unroot my phone back to completely stock 2.1 to make it as if I never rooted. I feel like I got in over my head though and don't want to brick my phone. Can someone explain as though they were explaining to a 6 yr old how to do this?
