Root Unroot Not Working

I want to unroot because I am returning my phone in 30 days and need to go back to stock. I have read over pages and pages of threads on how to unroot and thought I had every thing I needed but it didn't work.

Here are my stats:
supersonic evt-2 eng s-off
hboot-0.76.2000 (pc3610000)
microp-041f
touch panel-atmel224_16ab
radio-2.15.00.11.19
mar 30 2010 11:24:04
Calkulin's EViO 3 Rom v1.0
clockworkmod recovery v2.5.0.1
I think I used unrEVOked 3.2

Unhide to read all the steps if it helps fix this issue.

I flashed unrevoked-forever-son.zip about 12 times. The log file reports:
unrEVOked forever S-ON patch v1.3

unrevoked
The phone still says S-Off so I moved on.

I downloaded PC36IMG_SuperSonic_S_Sprint_WWE_3.70.651.1_Radio_2.15.00.11.19_NV_1.90_release_161482_signed.zip and get this:

(bad)
Installation aborted.
I downloaded two files from different sites and they both give that error.

I also downloaded a PC36IMG.zip from an XDA unrooting thread ([GUIDE] How to Unroot the EVO in 2 STEPS - xda-developers) and that loads in the bootloader screen and says:
Loading...[PC36IMG.zip]
Wrong zipped image
So I guess I got the wrong image file?

I downloaded and installed the Android SDK so I could run the 'fastboot oem writesecureflag 3' command but that errored out and didn't reset s-off to s-on.

So, while waiting to post this thread I decided to rename PC36IMG_SuperSonic...signed.zip to PC36IMG.zip and flash that and it looks to be installing.

Looks like I got the PC36IMG.zip to flash and s-on now but now when I reboot I get stuck on the white htc EVO 4G screen and turns off after a minute or so. I wiped Dalvik cache and restarted but it gets to the white screen and then just turns off and the orange charge light flashes a few times and I have to drop the battery to be able to turn it back on. I removed the flash card and that didn't help.

<edit>
Just noticed I have HBOOT-2.10.0001 now.
<edit2>
I got a little further. I was able to flash the PC36IMG.zip again but now it keeps getting stuck at the Sprint 4G screen and just appears to reboot over and over.
Now I am getting a red ! in a triangle when trying to boot it. Tryint to get into recovery to wipe Dalvik cache but it won't let me.

Any suggestions?

at the triangle hold the volume up/down button. should be something like that
it is on my DX and Gnexus they are all about the same boot loaders

ok so what is your baseband? the ruu you ran is to give you a stock rom and recovery and that is why you have the red triangle. if you want a recovery you can still install it via PC36IMG file. you need to a recovery to flash the s-on tool.

I spent a few hours while playing poker trying to flash the PC36IMG.zip file over and over again and it finally flashed correctly. I kept getting a message saying the battery was too low but it finally took and viola, back to stock.
Looks like things are back. Thanks for the replies.
