unroot without pc Help.

Heres a zip. http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390169635556426036

You can find supersu on the google market. You installing it. I don't know if it needs to be flashed when your already rooted. Try that before the zip

This kernel has supersu and its running or making the phone look like its running on sprint I have all the stuff that comes on the phone when you buy it from sprint. Should i really unroot like that? Don't i have to flash a kernel to make it look like its running on boost mobile first?

the only FI22 ROMs I see in the repository are either one click rooted (requiring a pc) or the original tar md5 file that would be an Odin thing.

On another note which ROM did you get going and have you checked your usb port since the new ROM?

I'm glad you got your phone booted back up

no the phone's port still does not work. I flashed the kernel you provide me with and thats all i did. I guess my next step is to flash a rom...

Did you only flash the kernel and were able to boot the phone into normal operating mode??

ok that makes some sense, the EL kernel is gingerbread kernel. I am running FL04 which is labeled Sprint, but works fine.

So now I have to download fl22 and flash it with cwm, right? I want to make sure to not make any mistakes. I am pretty sure I messed something up in the pro build.

Okay which file did you download? the two I looked at in the repository were eith a one click install which needs a pc and the second was a tar md5 file that would be done via Odin or mobile Odin.

The one in Root > Kernels > Stock (TW) Kernels > ICS > TAR called SPH-D710-BST.FI22_KERNEL_PDA.tar.md5 8.01 MB 10/13/12 18:59:16. flash it with mobile odin now, correct?

Okay that is the kernel, if you were on FI22 that would restore the kernel for ROM. If you are needing the entire ROM those are under leaks section.

a tar/md5 file will be an Odin thing CWM flash-able files are zip files

ok so i flashed tar/md5 with odin like the tut showed me how to do it and the phone turned off after a moment and stayed like that i read that it might take a while to reboot but the only thing i saw was the phone's chaging battery logo. so, i decided to turn it on since it didn't do anything and the it showed me the samsung logo and then it turns off again.... i guess that is not suppose to happen. did i do something wrong? i file by the step.

Im a little lost as to which Rom your on now. But the phone wont boot with the wrong kernel.. I always keep a copy of cm 10 kernel on sd so if this type of thing happens I can boot to recovery flash the kernel. Reboot recovery. Then restore cm10 nandroid and go from there.

Ok I am running fl04 with cwm. I was told to flash fl11 with mobile oding which i did and not i am back to where i was at the begging.

Even if the phone wont boot you can still boot too recovery. But if you dont have a kernel for a back up on your phone or a kernel for the rom currently installed then your stuck and have to use pc odin to get what you need on the phone. .

Because unfortunately Mobile Odin is out of the question when you can't get past boot

phone's port is malfunctioning saddly :( i will try and find a place that fixes a phone's port so i can do what you just said... if i find one ill pm one of you guys to tell me what to do so i don't mess it up again.

Could it be possible to flash AGAT_Recovery tREC_v0.2.2 back to my phone just like i flashed cwm on top of AGAT_Recovery tREC_v0.2.2?

okay I am a little lost when you first put the el26 kernel/cwm on your phone did you cwm to FL04 ROM?

If you are able to get into a recovery either AGAT or CWM stop and let me know. If you can get into a recovery then you should be able to get to a ROM that will allow you to boot and then you can get mobile Odin and then flash a boost ROM like FG31 (the original one for our phones)

ok i get what you are saying and yes i can get into CWM so i guess i will download every rom for the e4g i find and try them until i find one. thanks for giving me hopes lol!

I have a question when i get into recovery (power + volume up) my phone says android system recovery <3e> so i guess it is not cwm, or is it?

Okay any of the sprint roms for the Epic 4g touch will work (sph-d710) If you are going to flash an ICS one flash the modem for the ROM then flash the ROM you (if you are on the newer JB ROMS fk09 or newer you would need the modem to match it). I am sure this has all been a headache for you without being able to use the USB port on your phone (cause going back to stock with a one click or even the FG31 tar with PC Odin is total cake)

I don't know how to flash a modem  and i dont think i have cwm anymore.... can you provide me with the link? is not that i don't want to look for it its just that i can't find any modem besides the one for fl04 that you provide me with and i don't know how to flash it.

first are you running on FL04? if so go into settings and about phone and see what base band you have (that is the modem). The repository link I posted earlier has modems too both in tar/md5 format for Odin and also zip format for CWM. If you have mobile Odin you can flash the kernel with CWM for recovery if needed. Flashing a modem is no different than flashing anything else. Look to see what you have on your phone first before flashing anything else.

Ok now i get it we are not on the same page anymore lol.. I tried to flash fl11 with mobile odin like you said and i followed the tutorial to the letter and the phone just shut off, it didn't restart after like 20 mins waiting right, so i then turn it on to see if i did anything wrong i got the Samsung logo and that's it nothing else after that. this is where i am right now again stock at the boost logo and when i go into recovery i don't see that i have cwm anymore i have a recovery called android system recovery <3e>. so I don't know why i am stock here if i followed this tutorial for flashing with mobile odin. THIS is how my phone looks when i go into recovery now.
