By drivers, do you mean the file I downloaded?
I tried running as administrator but the black box comes up and closes in a matter of second but nothing happens. I even did a factory reset.
Thanks for helping. :)

Need help, i unrooted my phone successful. i had install an app that is call Font Installer, i remove the app & unrooted, but the font is still on the phone. rerooted the phone again, try looking in the Root Explorer system>app but no luck. want to return the phone back because of the rebooting issue. can anyone help me?

You my friend are lucky you didnt brick your phone changing the font.

I did a font change on my Ascend and only way I could change it back was by reflashing it. You could try a hard reset

i tried that already still no go. i figured it out. the app has a font that looks identical to LG stock font...

i used this app numerous of time & the phone responded fine, the one thing i should've done was in the app has a backup your stock font & i didn't use it. how will this cause the phone to BRICK? just curious.

Well, I did all this shit and the superuser app is still in the menu for the launcher. I'll never be able to return this phone. LG and Metro ****ed me again.

Is there any hope or did I just lose hundreds of dollars AGAIN. If so, I'm done with android, done with LG, done with Metro, done with crony capitalists, corrupt politicians, and the communist morons who ate the profits we were making.

It's only going to get worse as American companies continue to feed off the "domestic population" and foreign companies continue to export their non-working garbage.

one little thing got left out in the batch file, you should also add the following to clean up the superuser app (before removing su):
adb shell rm /system/app/Superuser.apk

No biggie, but keeps things tidy. :D

I tried this, and no matter where i put the line it says permission denied and the app still shows up in the app drawer. How do I get rid of this???

I'm also having no luck unrooting my phone..

Edit; And how come even after i do factory resets and "delete" everything it still stores folders for previously downloaded apps?

Oh, I forgot to update this thread: sorry.

Here is what you do:

Re-root your phone.

Make sure all the junk is where it needs to be.

Then, go to /system/app and remove your su.apk.

Then unroot your phone.

Then do a factory reset.

You should be good to go.

Didn't work :-/

I re-rooted and did what this video said. I tried free explorer apps, but they didn't work. I just purchased root explorer and everything worked perfect the first time. After i deleted the files (from the video) I formatted my internal sd card then did a factory reset (check erase internal sd card) and FINALLY superuser was gone lol. Get root checker from the market after to confirm.

-- additional instructions -- (credit to Aplus and Youngnex)

install root explorer(when re-rooted) and you'll notice a new, clickable button;
R/O - R/W is what you want.

delete the file(the phone will indicate its uninstalled afterwards) UNROOT and the phone is stock once again.

Also, dont forget about Internet Mode and USB Debugging mode. Both must be enabled.

This works! Thank you very much reilus

I NEED HELP!
I unrooted and set the factory reset. It brought me to the recovery screen. I've tried to restore and reboot, but when i reboot it brings me right back to the recovery screen.

Does having version C in the beginning and downgrading to version B have something to do with it?
Or is it the fact that I deleted the root?

Nevermind. Figured it out.

After unrooting the phone successfully, whenever I attempt a factory reset on the phone, it takes me directly back in bootloop to CWM, recovery mode.

what am I doing wrong?

Thanks

proper un rooting cannot be done this way, not yet... you have to update to zvc then downgrade if you want zvb

Can you guide me step-by-step on that process?
well i know to update to zvc just go here LG Mobile Support: Find the Latest Drivers & Product Guides | LG USA
download the tool and run it with your device plugged in... suggest wiping data unless you would want to keep all your settings lol because some how it updates you, removes root, but keeps all your user-data lol

as for downgrading, i haven't tried yet but i will after i get this 4g issue resolved... need it on zvc so i can bring it to the store :D
