k. I seem to be stuck.
Can i safely reformat the sdcard, effectively loosing everything on it...then reload that zip file? My fear is of loosing the nandroid backup and bricking this phone![]()
wait!
I'm using the phone as a disk drive. I do not have a card reader handy, or an SD card slot.
USB debugging is enabled. I do not have an extra SD card.
In the HBoot screen, I see it goes to the zip file and has a few lines that it flashes quickly, and it goes away too quick to read. It might say something about "no image" or something? It's about 6 lines and a half a second....then it goes back to the HBoot four options.
I am able to open the SD card in Explorer and see the files there and in Astro. I've currently saved the Clockwork folder to my laptop, there is nothing else on the card I really care about.
Yeah it sounds like the normal situation where no update zip is recognized. Something seems fishy, either perhaps a corrupt zip or the nomenclature of the filename is wrong.
the name of the file is: HTC Droid Incredible Downgrade
There is no .zip
hhmmmm. so do i just rename it? is it possible the zip i downloaded isn't useful?? where do you guys download the correct one from?
