Root Unrooting

OK, That's going to be my job tonight when I get home from work. Fingers crossed everything will be ok....

I admire all you that take the plunge and root and flash ROM's etc and really thank you all for the help offered to people like myself (although I did take the plunge and root)

I'll keep you posted.

I'm back to stock now, rooting is boring as I've no need for extra space with the 8 or so apps I use...the ZIP file update route is simple so long as you can rename a file correctly!!

Hey Guys! back to stock so I can return the phone for repair.

Thank you Sooo much for all your help. I love this site.

(Stupid Question mode:)

So is flashing the stock ROM as described the same procedure as flashing a custom ROM?

It really is THAT easy?

Flashing a custom rom doesnt require a connection to your pc. You have to boot into recovery and flash it from SD card (its a zip file).

It can be easy, but depending what rom your going from and to, may require data wipes.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice data for a different rom.
