Update 2.13.720.2

Hey I a user from India.. Jus got the update 2.13.720.2.. After the update I have noticed a problem that the apps stored on the sd card dont get updated.. they get downloaded.. On installation it shows "Unknown Error - 18".. But if the app is moved back to phone memory it gets updated.. Any facing similar problem? Is there a solution for the problem?

Factory hard reset your phone at least one time then check again.
 
Anyone facing the same issue after updating to 2.13.720.2?

I got a notification about the update today and waiting for comments from the users before I proceed...

I would prefer not to do tht.. Its easier to move the apps to be updated to phone update them and move them back to sd card.. Thanks but I wanna try other alternatives before a hard reset..
 
Hey any confirmation on the SD apps not updating issue that @aabangia is facing? Because I've set up the default location for Apps to install on SD card.
Recieved a update notification today, just waiting to update it.
 
I contacted the HTC Care and got the same reply to perform a factory reset. The problem continues even after performing the factory reset. To give more explanation, any app that directly installs to sd card or any app that is already on the sd card and is updated shows "unknown error - 18" on installation. Please help with a solution. It feels as if there is no use of having Froyo on my phone when apps on sd is not working.
 
Also noticed another thing.. Apps which directly install to sd card do not get installed even with the application installer through the HTC sync software...

HTC Sync Installer is not my problem. I dnt even use it tht much. Im not getting much help from HTC support. Also is there a way to install the OTA update 2.13.720.2 again? The problem appeared only after the update.
