Help Update 4.1.2 (England)

Hey there,

I was wondering if my samsung galaxy s2 (i9100) can be updated the 4.1.2 Jellybean? And if so how do I do it?

It has not been rooted / Flashed.

Hi, my wife has an unlocked S2 on Virgin and she received an over-the-air update this evening. Check your carrier's forums, but you could be getting it soon.

The update kept most of her settings but reset her home screens, so take a photo with another device before you install!

Hi there,

I have a SGS2 International, but that apparently came from UK. For weeks I had been waiting to update the android version it was coming with.

Yesterday tired of trying over and over it FINALLY offered to make the update.

I didn't receive any message, I just went to:
Settings / About device / Software update / Update

Then it checked the online servers, returned a message informing there was a new version, then I proceeded with that.

Just be aware that the update will delete most (if not all) phone settings and shortcuts you could have set along all the pages. After the update the apps still will be there, but the you will have "to plant" again ALL the shortcuts to them.
