Update Changes Thread

after the update the web browser doesn't pinch to zoom anymore, for me, just Dolphin HD does. Hmmm...

EDIT: PTZ does work on regular browser. The issue was that the google page was set to mobile, which won't PTZ, when I changed off it, it PTZ fine. I must prefer Dolphin, fwiw.

Haven't updated yet (making sure it doesn't effect root potential) but please Verizon/Motorola enough with the bloatware. It would be half acceptable if there was a way to remove it however there isn't, and the only way to do so is locked.
 
Battery life is better, my phone's uptime is 9 hrs with 90% battery life(medium use)
Battery usage is different: Before update Display 90% battery, standby 26%, after update Display 46%, standby 45%.
 
Just downloaded update ... installing now. Phone was working pretty good beforehand, hope nothing screws up.

See, that's why I'm waiting - I'll let y'all try it first and then if it doesn't, I'll install. Bwahahaha!! Our poor friend Steven has already reported an issue with pinch to zoom, hopefully it doesn't happen to all.

Installed.. 1st thing I checked was pinch to zoom, still working.
 
Browser performance is MUCH improved. Its now identical to my old iphone as far as smooth scrolling goes. Now I just wish froyo would hurry the hell up. LOL
 
here are a few things that i noticed that i dont think were there before the update

double -tap to silence
screen lock...disables the lock screen :)

Those were both there before the update ;)

However, I have yet to figure out how the double tap thing works.. wont work for me.


@jr0065: The images were not clickable. basically you couldn't zoom on any of the images. It was a Javascript issue.
