Help Update Server Unavailable

Also, I have no idea if this is related, but under setting > software update > status, the only field that shows information for my phone is Source: Verizon Wireless. All other fields are blank. Yet when I check the same with my daughter's Thunderbolt, she has information listed for all the other fields (i.e. Name, Status, Code, etc.).

This is happening to me as well. I have tried everything 3G, 4G and wifi and battery pull (1x) and 1X CDMA only. Have checked so many times it is driving my girlfriend nuts.

Same thing with vanishing window after checking. 1x doesn't work. Neither does factory reset. VZ dude said swap phone on Monday if download doesn't appear.
 
My girlfriend and I both have Thunderbolts. I haven't been able to update with this problem, and I just tried on hers and it worked the first try.
 
My Thunderbolt wouldn't pull the update in 3G either. I tried many times...always ending in the server unavailable message. I was not in a 4G area so I can't comment on that but I was able to pull the update on the first time in 1X. I just used my LTE on/off switch to put my phone into 1X.

Update didn't really cause any new issues for me. I did not have a rebooting problem before. It would reboot here and there but very rarely. At one point I did have the data connectivity issues others have had or have, i did witness that issue resurface very briefly after the update. So far so good. I'll have to keep my eye on the battery life...see if that has improved.

Overall, at least so far, Update has been a Positive one.

btw: This was my first update...I never installed the update that caused all the reboots.

I am seeing the same behavior on my phone and also do not have any data in Status window. Anyone have any idea if this is related to the disappearing update window?
 
Finally am downloading the update over 3g after a week of the checking for update screen disapearing. Unbelievable!
 
I was having that same problem. I would check for updates and sometimes it would give me a error and sometimes it would just go away. I'm downloading the update right now. So just hang in there. My guess is they are getting hit pretty heavy.
