Me: @VZWSupport I know this has been asked numerous times, but can a final answer be given about Eris leaked 2.1's receiving the OTA 2.1?.
@VZWSupport Only reason I ask is the only people I've seen receive the OTA so far have been stock 1.5, and none that have installed a leak.

Response: @lilxerolil All Eris owner's will get the update. Even the users who have installed the leak. *ZC

Take it with a grain of salt and for whatever it's worth.

see if they're aware of the different hboot number. and ask why nobody with the leak has gotten updated.

My wife got the update sent to her !.5 Ver Eris this morning in Southern Lower Michigan.

I however am still waiting and the crappy part is mine is the one that resets a lot when using things like ebuddy.

Why haven't they just posted online as a download by now?

Is it odd that my phone will not unlock while it's downloading the update? It wont slide to unlock and the menu button doesn't work either...

Finally got the update notification at around 9:45 MST in Phoenix, AZ. Just finished downloading, now in process of verifying download. Only regret is that now what do I do with my phone? Seems like for the last six days I've been check for updates and doing checkin and power cycling and anything else I could think of to please the OTA update dieties in the hopes that they bestow their blessing on me. Now that I have received the notification what is left for me? I guess I could use it to talk to people now. Woo hoo - it's ready to install! Here we go!

Finally received it at 4:18 AM, Sussex Co. NJ. Was running 1.5 and had it setup
just fine...

All apps present, settings gone, one bug so far - will not switch back from landscape mode.

I got my notification at 1:41 am. Wife got hers at 1:36. Drat! She beat me.
Both had 1.5.

DL took 5 min. Had to uninstall some items to have more room. I had read that 29 MB was required and I only had 21. As a safety I uninstalled TasKiller. Don't wanna mess with things right out of the gate!
