Actually, the people operating the Twitter account say leakers will get the update. They have no idea what they are talking about.

Yea, that's what I believe too. But I want to see how it plays out. They've said it so many times, that they will really look like ***** when ZERO leakers get the OTA.

the girlfriend got her update yesterday -installed it for her last night. took about 30 minutes or so. she was previously running 1.5... i gotta say that i was pretty impressed with the install. the only thing that wasn't still on the phone after the update was her 1 saved scene... other than that, everything remained intact... all apps (including Swype!), all txts, all pics, etc.

Here in Vegas... Got the update yesterday about mid morning. Installed and running, but it took a while and it has slowed things up a bit. That said, once its finally in and some of the programs update to work with it, i'm sure it will be fine.

VERY new here and HTC eris user for approx. 4 months. Still learning the phone since I switched from LG Dare to the droid. I got the update on 5-15-10 around 11am in Lansing, Michigan area. I was 1.5 and now 2.1........very impressed with the upgrade SO FAR, but still not happy I can not get flash 10.1. I am a media/tv/movie junkie and SUCKS that I can't play most of the videos from the web.

Just curious (maybe it's answered elsewhere, but oh well...), when you get the prompt, what options do you have ? "Yes" (do the update), "Not now", "Never update" , etc, etc ?
