Link me? Not sure what bits you googled, but if you got what I got it was an old old thing giving another phone Froyo, but we're already running 2.3.6, next step up is 4.0, or ZVB 2.3.6, which would just kinda suck
EDIT: Think I found what you found, old thing from XDA, I don't know if it's a full version update, we'll have to wait till somebody running stock signs on and lets us in on what happened. Or I'll try and run the LG update tool and see what happens.

Neat. I'm gonna do a quick backup and then flash a stock rom and see what happens.
EDIT: Would we be neeing new firmware for the VoLTE thing they're releasing? Just occurred to me it could easily be that, too. Anyway, I'm about to flash the ZVA stock, but it'll be a bit to download. If you're gonna be up for awhile, want to text me the update and see what happens?

I think so, can't see why it wouldn't. If not, now's a great time for me to back up my stuff and clean out my phone anyway, so there's that. The stock zva just finished, so I'll be another 5 minutes or so

I think I found a way around it; CWM seems to not want to flash the zip, I'm gonna try sticking the metro care client on there and sending it to myself, if not, then a factory reset and it should flash then

No dice, I just ended up wiping everything, can't get the stock to flash, gonna just wait till tomorrow, sorry for keeping you hanging

Wasn't this text for the mobile care app? If we don't have it installed then that's probably why we got the text in the first place. Maybe the text will like trigger and update or something?

I just updated with lg update tool. No changes still zva. Not sure if it's volte my spare isn't connected to make calls but then again i wouldn't know how to check for that even if it was.
