I don't know anything about dev or testing...but i do notice with my phone running your rom that sometimes when I hangup a phone call my phone reboots..
 
loving the animations.
also lovin the simplicity.
dont like the nemus launcher. im stuck on go launcher. cant seem to find anything i like better. is there a way to make go launcher a part of the actual rom/system? tried moving it to system apps and it stops working. i think they do this on purpose ::evil eyes::

would it f it up if i removed nemus launcher and tried to replace it with Go Launcher EX? is this possible? also wish go wasnt so heavy... i think its worth it though.

add on - battery display rocks too! <3 saves me from having to get an app fo dat. i drain batteries til they are at like 1%

*OH! can you add the recovery and reboot options on the power menu though, like on admired monster 5.3? thats the only thing making me lean back towards monster. im constantly booting recovery and rebooting in general. I lika to playa wit dee system and root browsa

I'm almost done with the Final version, but its kinda hard because I lost my battery for my test Admire and can't test on my own :( But, I'll send what I have to my testers and see if I can do this blind ;)

Yeah, I am pretty sure you can download and install a second launcher if you want. When you install it, go to the home screen and then hit the Home button and it will ask you what app to complete the action with, choose the new launcher and check the box to use it as the primary option. Then you can go back and delete the stock launcher. However, I think that it is required to keep the launcher where it is. Its worth it, though. Also, this rom runs better when you disable all animations. :)

Hey 2G great work with this rom...I like this Rom with aroma but I honestly hate the launcher...is there any way you can get Holo launcher as an option to choose in Aroma ?

First of all Thank you for producing this wonderful piece of coding, secondly I have some questions.

1: I had some problems with CWM 5.0.2.8 install, I wanted to use the 900 Mhz version of the rom but could not get the correct version any help with this would be great.
2: is there some way to tell if my device can handle the 900 Mhz version before I try and install it? or am I going to soft brick my phone again?
3: I have a keyboard i like better then Swype is it ok to get rid of Swype?
4: What about google Pinyin, I thought it was an Asian character set, is it needed?

Sorry about all of this I'm still new to the Rom flashing scene, and I think i soft bricked my phone over a dozen times in the last 2 days trying to find a rom that works with the device and wasn't filled with metro garbage, first I updated to the 2.3.6 official ROM and than rooted the phone and tried to remove the bloatwear myself but got frustrated with only being able to remove 4 of the annoying apps and titanium stopped un-installing them. it would say it did but upon reset it was still active and running. I'm guessing I was doing something wrong.

Anyways thank you for the rom I'm going to take it for a test drive any advice would be great.

1.What do you mean you couldn't get the correct version? The correct cwm?

2. Unfortunately there's no way to predetermine if your admire can handle the oc kernel. It's either a hit or a hit and a miss.

3 & 4. Yeah you can uninstall swype and google pinyin without any repercussions.
 
Yes correct CMW 5.0.2.7 was all I was able to install properly I've done some searching and maybe I'm mistaken but to me seems there are a few flavors of CMW with the same version number but like I said it the device is running fine. I may try it out with my wife's old admire and see what happens since I got mine up and running now. thank you again for the prompt response

So while playing with my new ROM I seem to be having problems with superuser, it's not loading properly and not letting any other apps have root permission. I've tried with just a plain root checker and it just hangs. not to mention my resources shoot through the roof, ram and processor, I was going to un-install SU but I can't I have no access to do so. any ideas on what's going on or what I should do?

i wiped everything then installed zip. i go through the steps and choose rfs admire. it says complete then reboots i get stuck on the sch screen. if i wait long enough the screen turns black but the back lights on the buttons stay lit. i am using 5.0.2.8 cwm i can back up to monster with no problem.
 
im really looking for the best rom with everything working. i would like to have beats too. monster 5.3 is ok but video does not work. can you help. im not a total nube i had a hd2 on nandroid that i flashed years ago.
 
You need to use the EXT4 Admire Version if you want to keep CWM 5.0.2.8 or downgrade to CWM 5.0.2.7 if you want to use the RFS version :)

I expect the next version to be out sometime this week. That is, if my teacher doesn't give me more shyte about the CAHSEE :p
