Adb is an android debug bridge, not sure about one for mounting a mrmory card though have you made sure its not the memory card its self :s

this is taken from the cyanogenmod 6.1 thread:

1. If the flash drive, for whatever reason, does not mount, then through the ADB, give the command: "mount-t vfat-o utf8, umask = 000, rw / dev/block/mmcblk0p1 / sdcard" and then "Settings / Memory / SD-Connect card .

....

i just dont know where to put that command in cuz i dont know what ADB is... and yes, i know for sure that my sd card isnt dead, i can access it directly on my comp with a card reader.

Slightly pointless but interesting post:
I just found this by messing with it:
369799-V3900SC.png

I kept pressing on "Version" and this popped up!
I was amused so i took a picture of it ;)

Also:
I'm having troubles with Swapper.. I cant seem to get it working, it creates the 600mb swap file, but in setcpu it doesn't show it. it shows 0kb.
Also where can i get swapper? the one im using is from the market..
one doesnt allow up to 600mb and one says its only for 1.6 and below :/

Hey guys.. can you please help me out

Basically i tried to upgrade from 1.6 to 2.3 but during the process i got the same error like Kyle1996 and in doing so my phone got stuck in emergency mode.

I can take the battery off and go into emergency mode again as well as the LG screen logo but other than that i can't do much. Computer doesn't recognise the phone and i just got a virus? like wtf please help me out

Hello guys. I can not install copybit.swift.so ..... The steps I do are: Connect the phone to my pc then put the file in the sd, then unplug the phone, then when I click on the file in ASTRO tells me "Application not available". And when I try to move the files to the / system / lib / hw memory of the phone tells me "Impossible to move the file ".... What should I do??

You dont install it! You move it too "/system/lib/hw"
If you are using root explorer to move the file, press the "Mount R/W" button on the top, move copybit.swift.so into the folder, then make the permission changes then press "Mount R/O" button.
That should do it :D

ADB is included in the Flashing CyanogenMod7.zip folder, just go to cmd and again type
Code:
cd C:\Android
then type
Code:
adb mount-t vfat-o utf8, umask = 000, rw/dev/block/mmcblk0p1/sdcard
:D

Did you do this with Swapper 2 from the Market?

Can you switch on the phone and go back into 1.6? If so, try the process again :)

If not, then put the phone into emergency mode and connect it to the computer, then in the KDZ updater change 'PhoneMode' to 'CS_EMERGENCY' and try to flash again. :D

At last a better stable custom ROM for GT540 has finally landed (not 100% stable though). Anyways, another of your nice tutorials. Thanks!
Also I'd already told you a month ago that they were porting 2.3 to GT540 and now they did. Feeling bad that OpenSwift ain't progressing but a lot better news that we are enjoying Gingerbread now. Thanks again!

Yepp, its not 100% stable but it's almost there, I'm sure it'll get sorted out soon! :D Np! :)
Yeahh, there wasn't much going for it then, but now that the ROM is almost perfect, I thought that I should share it with everyone :D :D
