prob a stupid question but have u restarted the phone ?

when u open root explorer the sd card is located 18 folders down hope that helps ?
 
i know this is not a fix but for camera zoom the app camera zoom fx will take a pic while zooming it will help till we get a offical fix :)

sorry every fix that was offered was a valid fix for what it was ment to fix maybe u should try again because all fixes fixed all our probs cop on an learn how to use ur phone or dont bother even tryin to upgrade k :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
My bad!! All the buttons went off the only thing working was the touch screen! Sorry didn't put correct user rights in!! still nice to know;) if I need a phone!! wink Wink 2.3.3 is much better..........:D
 
On a slightly different subject how many use the 540 for its camera?!? the zoom isn't a REAL zoom. 3 MP is pretty below par as we all know
 
Just installed version 1.5, haven't restored my settings yet, in fact I haven't done anything yet. I've tried the camera, it works.. but when I set (use volume up/down for zooming) phone freezes and restarts. I will install Camera 360 and see if this anything changes


EDIT: bu instaling version 1.5 I mean full, with the camera fix!

i got annoyed when i see u blaming others for ur mistakes people on this site do a lot of hard work to keep our phones running smooth please dont comment until u at least double check ur actions. were all here to help each other at d end of d day .........happy days :)

camera zoom fx app sorts the zoom till we get an offical fix :) i used camera 360 to sort buttion issue but now we hav an offical fix for that in d first post

i really think u should invest in a samsung taco lite suit u to d ground it has a 3.2 MP camera an u wont even have to set permissions and it comes in pink :D

Brilliant, compass seems to pretty much indicate north. Thanks so much for pointing out the file. I joined the xda group yesterday, but new users cannot ask questions. You need to be a member to download the file.

I suggest this fix may help others and should be included in the how-to on the first page.

Thanks again. Very satisfied now with phone now. (I wonder when the android 2.3.4 will be available lol):D

yup i restarted the phone...the folders are in english but the options like copy,move,etc are in russian..thats the part that i dont understand...if you could tell me which one to click when i open the options menu then that would be a very big help..thnx in advance...:)

I'm not sure if it is, if not i'm sure i read somewhere that there is a fix by uninstalling it, reboot, reinstall off market, reboot, uninstall, reboot, reinstall.
But atm i cannt find it as i'm at work. Will look later

I don't use the camera that much, but it's handy to use if you wanna take some pics or anything. 3MP isn't that bad, I remember when 0.3MP (VGA) used to be the best..

when u long press the file u want to copy! COPY is the fourth 1 down and paste is the bottom left button after that long press on the file u just pasted an permissions is the 5th button down hope that helps ??
 
Google voice, didnt uninstall, downloaded from the market, works fine.

Not sure about the navigation issues folks had, I've used google maps and the direction seems fine to me, as I turn it turns..

I've sent myself an MMS and that worked fine!

Only issue I have is on each boot launcherpro hangs and bw fails to load the home widget, if I kill it (comes up with force close or wait) it then loads fine.

and of course, the camera, I cant get to zoom at all, not too fussed myself as I've never thought the camera was brilliant anyway but a decent app for it wouldnt go amiss. Not tried it on this ver, but cant you just download the lg camera from the market??

Here's a link to an English version of Root Explorer. Use Titanium Backup to remove the Russian one installed now, then install that one :D
