Root Updated Debloat list...

Having rooted my phone shortly after I got it back in August, I went as far as freezing all the 'bloat' on my phone, but I never went as far as deodexing, or playing with different themes or ROMs. I didn't want to have any big hassels come update time. But I've always had it planned that once we had come to the end of the line as far as getting updates goes, I would finally cut the cord and start experimenting with ROMs, deodexing, and actually deleting the bloat rather than just freezing it.

Well, I have yet to see anything indicating that we are forsure getting gingerbread, let along honeycomb. I've done the update (via the leak right after the 1st round of updates went out to the testers), and went in and frozen all the bloat I could think of including...

Is there anything else that anyone else has frozen/deleted from this new update that isn't necessary? So far the only two I added that I didn't have before are the Madden 11 and My Verizon Mobil. I'll wait until probably around the first of the year, I would say by then we will probably have some idea on whether or not we'll be getting gingerbread. I will also know by then whether the absence of any one of these apps effects the device adversly.

If it works fine from now to then, and if gingerbread is not going to be in our future, then off they go. Hopefully by then they have the Ultimate Droid ROM complete with all the kinks worked out as it sounds very promising indeed!

I've had Music frozen since I rooted the phone 3 months ago, it didn't seem to adversly effect the phone at all. The app itself used to cause instability in my phone in the first place (reason I froze it). I wonder if they updated and debugged ut?

Oh and yes I've seen that thread Ken. I posted in it yesterday to see if anyone had an updated version but never recieved a response. So I started this to see if I could get any additional information.
