PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE SELLER HAS UPDATED HIS SHIPPING COST TO $30 HERE IN THE U.S. . HOPEFULLY HE WILL DROP THE SHIPPING PRICES IN THE FUTURE. I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS BATTERY IF I WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY THE $30 FOR SHIPPING. IT'S NOT WORTH IT IMO.

Sorry guys! :(

Hi all,

I just wanted to pass on a little info about a battery and charger that I found on Ebay. The battery is listed as a 2500mAh battery and can be purchased with a wall charger.

I have had the battery for about a week now and I am pleased with it so far. At 1st the battery didn't seem to be any better than the stock battery but after a few charging cycles it seems to be holding a charge much longer than the original stock battery. As you can see in the screenshot below, It was almost at 15 hrs with 49% charge left. That's not bad at all!

I cannot say for sure if this battery is actually a TRUE 2500 mAh but it is def. holding a charge longer than stock.

Did you get the charger yet? I'm half tempted to order this. I really want an external charger.

I'm still running the stock battery, but now on the JB rom and have noticed significantly longer battery life. Did you switch around the same time you got that battery? I am running Juice Defender, but havent changed any settings.

Note: I'm running Power Saver Mode with only CPU option enabled

The charger is in transit. I've got a tracking number and it should be here within the week.

Yeah. I ran it with ICS for about a day. One of the reason I saw such a big drain the first few days was because the battery hadn't been cycled yet plus I was doing a lot of flashing. The battery is doing great with just regular use. :D

I got the charger that I purchased with the battery on Friday. I've got to say that it's the nicest battery charger I've ever seen. This thing has prongs that are adjustable to fit different batteries and it also has a animated LCD display for charging which looks neat. Once you have the prongs set correctly, the LCD lights up. When you plug it in the LCD shows the battery sections as its charged to full capacity.

It also has a USB port.

The part with LCD + USB is spring loaded. You slide it back, adjust the prongs, insert the battery, and it slides back to hold the battery securely. I'm telling you people..... This is one nice battery charger!! LOL:D

Here's a shot of it with my stock battery.

ive found that using a nexus 7 charger on most phone increases my battery life and recharging times i averaged about 23 hours on ics with everyday use on jb i average 18- to 20 hours , going to pick up this battery and use it with my nexus charger to see how it goes

This battery is doing great I take it off the charger at about 6:45 am and keep it of all day, using it quite frequently. By the time 11 PM rolls around I've usually got between 30 and 40% left. I'm very happy with it. :D:thumbup:

Gotta get one now! Or tonight that is.

The battery took several (2 or 3) charging cycles before it started performing like it should. Just remember that if it doesn't get good battery life right at first.

Are you going to get the wall charger too?

I just tried to order the battery and charger, and it says the seller is away until July 30th. Bummer for me because I'm on vacation this week, and I figured by the time I get home, I would have a shorter wait.

allready have the money ready to order when he gets back and ill get one of those chargers for my grandfather there are alot of times hes not close to an outlet and he runs out of battery so he could just use the sspare from this charger and @wetbiker would you say that if we get overclock this phone would still average about 18 hours with that battery?

I cannot honestly answer that. We'll just have to wait and see. A lot is going to depend on what you have your min/max clock speed set at too. ;)

UPDATE:

Phone has been on for 13 hours with HEAVY USE!! Battery is still reading @ 45%. People, I mean HEAVY USE!! I've been on and off the phone all day. Text, wifi & 3G internet, and phones calls included.

This battery is doing great! :D

Lol. Well, it looks like they felt bad about not sending me the charger originally and the sent me another so now I have two! SWEET! :p

It's always nice to ha e a backup.

Guys, I just sent the seller a message on Ebay asking if they are planning on selling them again. I will get a reply because I used my transaction ID when I sent the message. Hopefully I'll have an answer for y'all soon as to when they'll be back and if they'll be offering them again. :D

Guys, this is a shot of my stock battery. Look at the huge difference between it and the new one posted in the OP....... Crazy huh?

I'm wondering if anyone in the UK or even Europe has bought one of these and whether the charger is compatible. The pins aren't an issue but I noticed the label on the back of the charger only says 60Hz whereas we use 50Hz here, and I wouldn't want to damage the battery if I bought one.
