Root Updating problem?

i run a samsung fascinate on verizon running 2.1-update1 and whenever i hit the update button it just works for a while and goes away. i cant get into the update manager and i really want 2.3!!!

There is no update right now especially 2.3 we don't even have 2.2 yet

Hang around here you will know right away when updates are coming.

yeah you can "want 2.3" doesnt mean anyone can have it :rolleyes:

we all await the 2.2 update/leak...which hopefully should come soon :cool:

Yeah the radio looks like a real.nonstarter with a..35 kernel...,so.that dream looks kind of dead...,those of us that.stick around longer with the.fascinate may.see.it one day though. :)

Hey at this point Im just please we more or less have a good 2.2 and some options

gem comes from CCrom team right? and birds on that team?
how would gem aosp differ from straight vanilla? is it like CM in practice in terms of being mostly vanilla with some added goodies?
As I said before Im all about options and choices 2 is great 3 or 4 even better

bird is on the team yeah :)

gem is kinda like a cross between cm and vanilla...improved functionality but quicker than cm....also its nice that everyone on most phones is all about cm and you are on something a bit different ;)
