Root [[URGENT!!!]] How to UNroot phone?! Please help!

Lol no.
I have some meta morph things on it and they don't disappear. Doesn't work. I mean completely unroot it
 
I hate to say this... but I don't think VM or anyone really cares if the phone is rooted. I could be very wrong, but I know for a fact I've turned in devices that have had CM7 on it and they didn't care.

You returned a rooted phone to virgin mobile? They didn't do anything?
 
Yeah my ROM will take you back to a fresh out of the box state. No root, no mods of any kind(Inlcuding bootanimations and stuff). The only thing it doesnt change at the moment is the splash.img and the recovery but I have zips for that.

Flash my stock ROM

Flash the stock splash.img

Flash the stockr ecovery zip of mine(In matera's cwm thread)

I am going to make a stock ROM that replaces the splash.img as well(Actually i have it made I just need to upload it, I'm lazy sometimes lol :))

Honestly, Idk how to "flash". I need step by step, what apps do I need, how do I get the stock thing on my phone ETC

What have you done to your phone? have you put in a custom recovery or ROM? or have you just rooted it, and if so how?

Gingerbreak. That's it. I'm a noob on all this "ROM" stuff. I used meta morph to change some looks. No idea what I was doing, but hey, it worked.
 
You can just unroot using gingerbreak again. It probably wont matter if you changed things with metamorph, but you could probably undo those changes using that? I haven't used metamorph, so I don't really know what to tell you there, but gingerbreak will get rid of the root access and you can delete superuser and busybox or whatever you might have installed that indicates that you had rooted it.

It will indicate I rooted it with the meta morph things. Can't undo them. I already unrooted thru ginger break, but it doesn't get rid of everything...........
 
Do like isaac or brandon have already posted. There are links for all that stuff here.

Depending on what you did with metamorph they probably won't even notice it was rooted. They might not even care if they did notice.
 
Well that was a while ago and I've seen nothing happen to my account or anything. I say, as you get it back as stock as you can, you'll be fine. I even sent it in with metamorph changes on it.
 
I have heard of people sending them back with all kinds of stuff that "void the warranty" and nothing happened. That being said, they COULD refuse to help if they wanted to. I would get mine back to stock before getting a replacement if I ever needed it.

DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible if you mess up, I am here helping you but also note that if you do something wrong and your phone turns into a brick it's on you.

Stock Nandroid: Stock_Triumph_1980-01-06.00.00.34.7z
Stock Recovery: recovery.zip

Steps to Stock:
1st: First follow this guide:http://androidforums.com/triumph-al...mod-recovery-motorola-triumph.html#post326602

2nd: Next use Stock nandroid and this guide http://androidforums.com/triumph-al...ndroid-backup-stock-recovery.html#post3048801 (ignore everything but how to set it up on your sd card and unzipping it. End product should be a folder, open that folder and you should see a "boot.img", "cache.img", "data.img", "nandroid.md5", and "system.img".

3rd: Next boot into CWM (turn off your phone and hold power and volume up and down, let go after the phone shows CWM. After CWM is up the controls are menu = select, volume keys = up and down, back = back) and look for mounts. First format system, data, cache, and under advanced format dalvik cache, then select "backup and restore" and under the restore options select the Stock_Triumph_1980-01-06.00.00.34 folder, and it will restore a never powered on backup of the stock rom.

4th: After its done don't reboot the phone just hit the back softkey till you get to the main menu and select power down. As you already installed CWM going back to stock is the same way. With the phone off hold power and volume (make sure nothing is plugged into it ex:usb or power) down till "polling" comes on then plug the usb cable in and connect it to your computer. Let it install drivers, then open your computer, open mobile, open image, then replace the recovery.img with the stock one (Stock one at top of the post). *Note the stock recovery comes zipped just unzip it till you have a recovery.img. It will ask you to "overwrite" hit yes wait about 10 seconds after its 100% done copying (it should only take about 5 seconds). Then unmount it from your computer and unplug the usb cable from the phone. Now as much as you might not want to, the only way to get out of download mode is battery pull, so pull the battery wait about 10 seconds put it back in.

5th: Power your phone on, you now have 100% Stock everything :D Enjoy!

*Note the reason I explain everything in so much detail is some people have less knowledge than others and when it was me with less knowledge I liked the extra explanation. Must of you would only need the links which is why I put them at the top.

All files here except stock recovery (which I supplied) are other peoples and the credit goes to them for supplying them. I only put together all the guides/files into a guide on 100% Stock.

If you are thinking about copying and pasting the guide to another forum/website I would hope that you had the decency to just permalink to it so people could get help if they had questions that weren't on the guide. If not at least link to it/give credit.
