USB cable - wear/tear

I really don't feel at ease with only one USB cable. I constantly have to plug/unplug/transport/store the one USB cable that comes with the TF.

It scares me to death to know that when I lose it, or when breaks because of all the moving around with it, I will be stuck with a 100% useless tablet...

Come on ASUS get those USB cables (without AC adapter) on the market (original or 3'rd party I don't care)!!

mine is already cracked. stupid short cord wouldn't stay up on the table, and I stepped on it. My Deal Streak has a longer cord thankfully.

That's why I bought an extension cable right away. None of my outlets are near a table.

USB 3.0 cable is REQUIRED. Car chargers won't work either since they don't support 3.0 at all -.-

Yeah they do, you can easily find a 2Amp 12V usb adapter for in your car

Still must be USB 3.0. Different pins on the cable connections between the two different types of USB.

USB 2 will charge the tablet but it does not show the charge light also it charges very slowwwwllllllyyyyyyy but at least it will charge

I bought a second charger with USB cable from Central Computers (SF bay area). I also use a standard AC extension cord ($5 at any hardware store), so the length of the USB cable is no issue.
