Help usb charging issues

While at work when I unplug my X after charging it....and then plug it in later.............I have to power off my X in order for it to recognize that its usb charging...,?

Was going to post about this same issue earlier, until an Evo user I know told me that after you plug in the USB, you can drag the top bar down. You'll see a "USB connection" option. Change it to "Charge Only".

If this doesn't work you can try installing the usb charging drivers.
