I'll have to see what system requirement there would be to upgrade to windows 7 32bit.
Thanks for the info.

10 seconds times (not counting bios) takes a heck of a system (I7/fast SSD/16GB), but easier to achieve than with XP (if possible at all).I would have to say that 10 sec boot times are a big plus.
So Windows 7 (64bit) is easy to navigate, or is it like Vista?
Just install Froyo.
You pretty much have to put Froyo in order for the drivers to even have a chance, just how it is. Very few people have gotten it to work without it (especially with win7). Stop fighting it. Do a nandroid backup, install Harmonia 1x and nothing else, update your prl then put your nandroid back. Total time, 10 maybe 15 minutes. How long have you spent on this so far?
There is a way to use a script, but really, just flash Froyo and be done.
As for the OSX not needing drivers.
PUHLEASE! You haven't tried setting up various printers in an office environment to OSX. I've worked with OSX, like Linux it either works out of the box or it's a complete nightmare. Use a significant amount of office stuff and you can almost guarantee at least one thing will not work properly.
I can't hate on Windows too much. It works fine, but also, it's also 2/3rds of my income.![]()
LOL at the 2/3rds income comment. But ok, ok, ok. I'll flash a Froyo Rom, flash the PRL, and report back.
For the record, just got a new pc and had to install the drivers. With BACKside (2.3.7) on the phone and Windows 7 x64 on the pc, the driver installed without a hitch.

Probably the only time that's ever been said to me!
