Glad youre fixed matethat was fast!
Yeah only by rooting or using the Carbon app you can back up app data like settings and game progress.
Did all your apps download automaticly when you started the phone and logged in?
Ive never owned an iphone or any apple product... its not really my style but i think with an iphone you can save an image of the whole phone to itunes or something.
Actualy, the most of what ive learned about iphones has been from using s3 forums lol. There seems to be a huge number of people who left iphone for android with the s3. Im not naive... i know probably 90% of these people didnt even know or think about what android means or stands for.. they just saw the s3 as the "next big thing" but its all good.
The only thing that pisses me off is when people change from iOs (iphone) or RIM (blackberry) to android and then moan that it didnt do what their old phone did and try n make an android phone look/act like their last phone lol... its like.. if it was that important how your old phone did things then why not do a lil bit of research before choosing one with a completely different operating system
Yeah cheers, it's all fixed with few loss on the data. But as I said my first world problem so I am not bothered.

I used iTouch only because my ex got me. That was way before the iPad age. They used to call it iPhone without the phone but now iTouch (if they still exist...?) it's tiny tiny iPad. lol
I guess Apple is an appliance in where Android (or PC) are machines. That's how I see it. I never used Mac computers and I still don't know how to browse!! - it's at my gym.
I used Android before on my Archo tablet, but those were the days we weren't still "depending everything" on apps yet! So I never needed to backup anything.
But since everyone uses gs2,3,4 now.... I thought the handling was little less "geeky", but well, good old Android it still takes geekyness!
Carbon app, yes, someone recommended me that in here. I will look into it to backup my data from now that I am not stresses any more I got the shiny new screen.

cheers!!
PS: Blackberry is not big in here in HK or Asia, only for the bankers (lol) though I do use BB too for my company gave it to me.... to check work emails. Not sure what to say I only use to check my company email and nothing else!
that was fast!
