Root USB not working.

My usb when plugged into my Windows PC wont work, it seems the drivers are messed up because its fine when plugged into my Mac so can you help, ive tried reinstalling drivers and its not my cord. Please help thanks(its not the phone either).

im having the same problem. its only on my computer. when i plug my phone into anyone elses computer it mounts and the usb debugging kicks in. i think i need to just reinstall the drivers...

It charges fine... but i reinstalled drivers and no avail...

Mine does the same thing on my home computer win xp does not recognize, the same computer running ubuntu will recognize the phone, my xp comp at work recognizes it fine.

Drivers & Resources - LG Forum
go there and scroll down to the driver with lg ally and download it. When it downloads, switch the file type to all files(second option) and at the end of the name type in .exe . When you plug your ally back in it should be recognized.

This worked for me after changing file name to exe running file and restarted computer now reads phone...thanks dude.

had to reinstall and reboot. now im good to go.
