Root USB storage times out too soon

Today I went to transfer a hundred or so photos from phone (Cyanogenmod7) to PC. When in the process of uploading, the USB connectivity was lost before the process was finished. It seems to time out within a couple of minutes or so. I was uploading using Picassa at the time. I am not sure whether this is a Desire issue, or Cyanogenmod7 or whatever else.

Any ideas?

Odd. My desire has never done that so far as I am aware and I often copy 10+ GB of music on/off the sd card...

Thanks for the thought. I was using the same USB port I have used in the past for transfers but will try some of the others. Will try this out when I get home.

Thanks. Simple as that. They all appear to be the same on the specs but must look into this further.
