Root USB Video Out Not Working

I'm running Incredibly Re-engineered 2.3 and LOVE the ROM, but noticed that I can no longer use the USB audio/video out cable I have to watch videos on my TV.

Is this the case with other ROMs, too?

IR 2.3 is based on EVO framework and TV out will not work, ever. The EVO has HDMI out so their framework doesn't support TV out
