Root Use DarkTremor's A2SD on CM7

Must have frozen up on you.

It did it twice. When I tried to do it thru ROM Manager and when i tried to do it manually thru CWR. SO I did it the old fashion way and downloaded a Partitioning software and did it on my computer. Adapt and over come.

ROM Manager/CWM seem to be really wonky sometimes.

Alright I have an issue. Everytime I go to download apps (Any apps) It will download and right when its installing my phone reboots. Ive already tried wiping everything 3 times and reflashing. And DT's A2SD isnt even flashed yet, Any suggestions?

As far as DT's I tried all the betas 2,3,4 (I cant remember the build dates) 4 finally worked I had like 30+ apps with widgets and had 159mb of 167 free. Then it started going all crazy on me with reboots and FCs Then I started the whole process over. Started flashing them one by one trying to get them to work. Beta 2 finally worked. Not as impressive as 4 was. Had 159 free and with the same everything I now have 106 free with beta 2. But shes behaving! Thats all that counts ahaha Im calling it good tho. I must of started over from scratch and reflashed atleast 10.

Edit----So thanks to your "a2sd check" comment on the first page of the thread, I ran that in my TU and found there was a problem moving the the delvik at reboot. So I ran a2sd repair and it fix the problem and moved the delvik to my SD so now I have 155mb of free space. I did have a problem with opening anything picture related (Gallery, wallpapers, camera) they all would just force close on me. So I rebooted and they worked but when I opened my camera it said "Please insert SD before using camera" so i rebooted again and havent got that message since.

I have a question, is Partitioning the SD card suppose to take forever? I Have a 16GB class10 card, and i've tried to partition it, and it seems to just hang there for a really long time, doing nothing at all... Is this normal? Do I have to wait even longer?

*EDIT* Hangs at "Partitioning SD Card... please wait..."

Are you partitioning thru ROM Manager or Clockwork recovery? Both kept freezing up on me. Like 45 minutes and it did nothing. It was just stuck on "Partitioning SD card Please wait" I ended up get a software called "Minitool partition wizard Professional 5.2" it does cost money to be able to apply and I partitioned it on my computer. It is more difficult then using RM or CWR, because you have to do some math.

Heres the video I watch to get the idea of what to do. Dont use his numbers because he is partitioning a 2gb card.

Hmm, thanks, but I think I got it to work..

I dunno what the exact problem was, but I reformatted the microSD on my comp via BootIce, and then tried to partition again in CWM, and it says it finished this time around.. Hopefully it works now.. But thanks for the info anyways, and if I run into any more problems with this, will be sure to give that program a shot.
