I always 'try' to avoid refurbished if possible.. you never know if there is going to be something faulty.I saw this post over at SprintUsers in case anyone is interested in purchasing a refurbished Sprint Marquee: LG Marquee (used) for $115 / HTC Arrive for $133 + more @ cowboom - SprintUsers.com
I think I would almost want a refurbished phone over a 'used' phone.. Never know what the prior owner did to the device. I mean this doesn't mean it isn't a good deal. I just personally like to buy new as long as it is possible.hi! just noticed this thread, haha - actually they're not refurbished (refurbished would mean it should have gone back to some kind of company that fixes up phones). these phones are just straight up USED!
cowboom is a best buy (yes i know).. site -- this is the site they used to sell all the crap that got returned from best buy.
lastly, the prices on all their phones (sprint/verizon/att/tmobile) change drastically. Nexus S has been as low as $90, but currently its $210.
also, stock inventory determines price and availability. currently the Marquee dropped down to $80! and there's only 1 in stock (a grade 5 though)
edit: forgot to add - cowboom has a 30 day no hassle warranty. they also provide return shipping !
