The cab contains that exact .tot file..

CAB is just compressed with a .wdh and .wdb and .dll file.
The .wdb file is a very very compressed file that contains the .tot (which is the firmware) as well as a .scr and .prl file.

.wdh is nothing useful (as far as I know) and .dll is just the file used to tell the KDZ program how to flash the firmware.
