I got the same one, was told it has to dry, the guy told me 24 hours, already looks a bit better, 3d still looks good, slightly washed out, no finger prints on mine, the guy e ven used a small squegee to apply the screen protector, and some liquid he sprayed on the shield

Same with mines . Now that I look at it closely the little bubble that was there yesterday is gone today . And the 3D in mines is not affected and no finger prints .

Just went on a 370 mile trip and trust me there is no issue with the cheap car chargers. :)

There could be a few phones out there that have.... How does EarlyMon put it...."that fresh lemony scent."

To anyone else that has a screen protector, have you found that it makes the screen look grainy or dirty? Bestbuy gave me one with a zagg smudge proof protector on it and the screen has looked grainy, you really notice it on the clock or when anything is white.

THe cheap cigarette car chargers work just fine!

I can confirm that as well. Both of the $5.00 ones I got at Walmart work great.

I was one of those who didn't think they would use the 3D much. Well, we are finally remodeling our guest room into my KISS room and have been taking pics of it and they look so cool! Will post some pics here in a day or so if anyone is interested. :)

Still learning and loving this phone!

If you are coming from a Hero, Pre or any other archeic phone like that, this phone will blow you away. If you already had an Evo, Nexus or similar phone, you wont be very excited at all unless you are totally in love with 3D. Honestly, my Nexus S felt just as fast doing most everything the 3D does. Returned the 3D and went to TMobile for the Sensation for several reasons, read on if you care about those reasons.

Sensation has a superior camera and shoots full 1080p video
Sensation is lighter and thinner and feels better in hand
GSM is able to do voice and data at the same time
SIM card with GSM
No extra charge for mobile hotspot feature on TMobile
TMobile plans are cheaper than Sprint
Tmobile's 4G doesnt eat battery life nearly as bad as Sprint's WIMAX

Bottom line, if you are stuck on Sprint, the Evo 3D is the way to go. If you want cheaper plans and IMO a superior carrier with a phone thats just as good if not better, you have choices.

I like the hardware of the sensation better than the E3D but here in the midwest the CDMA carriers have quite a bit better coverage since they pretty much all have roaming agreements with each other (sprint has free roaming on verizon's network, cricket roams on sprint's network, etc.).

Is it a matte finish? I had that issue with the matte screen protectors. Loved the feel on my finger, but the image quality took a huge hit.

I have the smudge proof one and it looks a bit grainy. A guy in another thread told people to get the regular invidishield. Do not get the smudge proof. Pretty sure im taking my smudge proof one back to best buy to get the regular one. My screen looks decent, but id rather not have the grainy effect.

Dude Best Buy rip the Sh*t out of you . I got mines at Radio Shack for like 18 something . What sold me was that the guy told me it had lifetime warranty . He also said the same thing with mines . That it will take like a week or something for it to look clear . Any one have experience with the Invisible Shield ?

Yea i think im done with best buy mobile. The sales rep became rude once i refused the horrible buyback program and black tie service plan. He didnt go over anything with me and basically handed me my activated phone on my way. Sorry for being smart and not wanting your $10 month insurance that ive heard horror stories about. Going monday to exchange my smudge proof for non smudge proof. I will make sure im not charged $7 again for install.

My friend is coming over tonight to install our Clarivue clear ones. I hope they look good and don't affect the way you look at 3D and I hope it's still the same feel pretty much when using the phone. I liked it on my EVO.

I went to Best Buy to get the Platinum holster, and the girl came over to ask me for help, but once I showed her I knew more about cell phones than she did, by asking a simple question about the size of the Otterbox compared to the Platinum/Seidio she simply walked away

Second, which I brought to the attention of a Sprint store (they are all beating their heads against the wall cursing the amount of returns coming very soon), a standard hard wired car charger will not charge the phone, lights up and says it is charging, but no go. This was verified with my charger, an identical one in store, two other styles of chargers and the Sprint Tech's personal Evo 3D as well. A charger with a USB port and a data cable will charge the phone, but none of the hard-wired chargers the Sprint store had in stock.

I tried a Rocketfish car charger this morning, the "Premium" model with a hardwired charger and a second outlet where you can plug in another USB. THey're available at Best Buy for about $25. It claims two amps capacity. It definitely worked great, My EVO showed as charging, and when I left it to charge, it definitely increased the charge level on the EVO over time.

Just for the heck of it, I pulled out an inexpensive mystery brand hardwired car charger I once bought when I forgot to pack my regular car charger. The little lightning bolt on the EVO showed charging, but the charge level on the battery didn't seem to be budging, and I lost patience. It may have been charging, but at a level too low to show up before I lost my patience! Though thinking back on it, I don't remember seeing the level indicator marching across the battery symbol like it usually does.

I don't think it would be an update issue. I mean chargers are chargers and if it charges at home it should charge in the car. Maybe it is a voltage thing. How did you test the chargers in store? Maybe it is just charging slowly. The first day I had mine it seemed to take forever to charge.

They hooked the car chargers to a 12 volt power supply. They are definitely not charging at all, had mine hooked up to my charger for over an hour and never went up at all, plus I was in store for 45 minutes and nothing happened again.

I am going to go out on a limb and assume it has something to do with combining the usb and hdmi into one port. The phone will register what power source it is charging from, maybe the 3D will only charge from USB or AC sources. Chargers are wired a specific way so the phone can identify the source, the car chargers people are reporting as working may be registering differently, this has been discussed in other threads and even how-to's to change a car charger so it will charge like an AC charger.

I was wondering does enyone else notice you need a lot more light to take 3D pics or videos than 2d? and even more light in general with this camera than the one on the original evo? that's probably normal I'm guessing but just wanted to make sure with the rest of you. When I try to take a picture in a room with the light on and want it to be 3d it still ends up using the flash and it looks very dark on the screen, when I flip it to 2d it gets better but still a lot darker than the original evo was, I still have my evo 4g so I held them side by side in my room with the light on and the original evo has plenty of light for the picture but the 3d seems to be twice as dark at least. Is that normal?

Ive noticed that too. My 3d pics come out dark unless it is well lit. Anyone notice how sensitive the touch screen is? Never had an evo before so idk if thats normal. One thing i noticed is when im talking on the phone the side of my face hits something and speaker phone randomly comes on. Any solutions for this?

I don't like those Zagg invisishield protectors because they have an orange peel affect that's annoying to look at.

Best skins ever produces a better protector with no orange peel. However, I'm not sure they have released the protector for the EVO 3D

He put our Clarivue screen protectors on last night. I ordered the clear and I like it alot. I had it on my EVO 4G and it is nice.

Being an OG EVO owner from day one, I can say that I love the 3D, faster speed, and larger memory. Really thrilled at how good my Blu-ray 3D movies look in 3D, and YouTube 3D videos, too, but just hate the crappy speaker downgrade (should have been two EVO speakers in stereo). Dislike the relocated side position for the USB port. Sadly missing the kickstand.

The phone has rebooted several times or crashed in the past two days since getting it, with no obvious reason why. Had to pull the battery at least four times. Most annoying is to discover upon reboot that the apps stored on the SD card that had icons on the desktop need to have their icons recopied to the desktop to replace the annoying Android icon placeholders. At least the apps themselves still work, but I've already had to recreate my desktop screens (which are quite full) twice. Not fun, not even a little bit. No, I have not installed any additional task killer apps.

Still like the phone, but it's not exactly stable yet. Keep checking for another OTA update that fixes some of this unpredictability, but not holding my breath 'til then, either.

The biggest issue, though, has got to be the overwhelmingly time consuming transition/transfer/resetup/configuration going from the EVO to the EVO 3D. I'm not rooting my phone, so I'm not using Titanium Backup, and I haven't found any reliable tools to copy over all my app config data. Other than trying and failing with My Backup Pro, which copied some relatively unimportant things like text messages and call logs but actually *deleted* my old bookmarks, there doesn't seem to be a good and quick method. At least I found the Angry Birds save game backup and restore utility, LOL. I've spent the past two days reinstalling and configuring all my apps on the new phone, and I'm finally basically done. I may just sob when I drop this thing someday, but honestly, there needs to be a better way, as literally spending days reconfiguring a multimedia device such as this are days you'll never get back.

How'd you get your BluRay DVD movies on your phone? Did you use some sort of program to rip down the movie file only and then transfer to your phone? I know it's off topic from the review subject, but I'm curious how people are able to do this. TIA.

I use DVD Catalyst (paid version for $10). 1080p/h.264 video looks gorgeous, streamed from my nas.
