Whenever you use an alternative launcher, you lose access to HTC widgets - Blinkfeed would be in that list, pretty sure.
I've tried a few, and for no reason that I can rationally explain I really, really like Nova better. Of course, I'm still not a One user, so take that as you may.
You'll find working with the dock and folders is _very_ nice in Nova.
Personally, I go with three very spartan screens, and then have my scrolling dock (scrolls independently of the screens) with folders for my various favorite groups of things I do. And you can add 1x1 widgets to the dock.
Try the free version to see if you like it, and then Nova Prime simply adds on more of a good thing.
I really like the look of the icons but love blinkfeed... Hard choice, think I'll give a few a try and see if anything sticks.
Sense is far more than a launcher, it's an integration of people-centric apps + a launcher.
Has anyone used Nova Launcher on the HTC One? I am thinking of getting the One, but would like to get rid or not use Blink Feed. Any opinions or thoughts welcome.

Unless you root - Apex Pro can set transparency if rooted (not tried Nova Prime so far).Yes it's great... BUT when you use nova, you lose the transparency on the notification bar... If you're the picky type, like me.... Frustrating.
