Help Using an mp3 for an alarm?

Is it possible, or am I completely limited to the small number of choices pre-installed? I'd really love to wake up to Marq Torien screaming "Smooth Up In Ya!!"

Get Zimly, an alternative music player, that has a music alarm. It's free, lockscreen controls, album art, and lyrics.

I made a folder called "ringtones" on my SD card. Bam... those mp3's show up for use as ringtones and alarms.

I also found that if you (say through your music player, I use Winamp) select a track as your ringtone, it stays in your ringtone options, and also shows up as an option for the alarm. Weird, but that's how I used to do it.

Seemed like the simplest solution, so I tried it & my wish was granted! Thank you!
