Root Using square while rooted

Has anyone used square while rooted on your evo? I am rooted and running kings unleashed still. I seem to meet all of the requirements for square to work but it does not show up in the market for me.
 
I should add that I ended up grabbing the apk off of 4shared to check it out and it seems to run fine. I am still curious why I am unable to see it in the market though.
 
i just checked my market and it does have square for me to down load. not sure why you can't see it. try the market on your desktop. you can even download straight from there to your phone.
 
well that is weird. can you find it on the market on your phone? is your market updated to the new market? what rom are you on? well i guess it is sort of a moot point as you have the apk for it.
 
While it is sort of a moot point I would still like to have the one direct from the market. It is after all going to be handling credit card transactions and I am not sure I trust a random one off of 4shared. I flashed the new market and I still can't locate it from the market on my phone. I am on kings unleashed.
 
is your market on your desktop linked to your phone? that is weird that your phone will not see it. and wow that is an old rom. lol i was going to say that it might because of froyo but i just read that it is compatible with froyo. does the market on your desktop say that it is compatible with your device?
 
Issue resolved, I never realized there were content filters built into the market. I had to set it to show all apps and it showed up.
