Using stock wallpaper improves lag problem!

One of the lag issues I've had with this phone happens right on the home screen, while trying to unlock, and even when trying to answer a call, etc. It always stuttered.

I wasn't even using a live wallpaper, just a static picture I downloaded. But I recently switched my wallpaper to some boring stock wallpaper, and the thing became so fluid and smooth.

I wonder if this is an inherent problem, or because downloaded wallpapers are stored on the SD card as opposed to main memory.

Just a tip. I will stick to using stock static wallpapers personally.

Ineteresting. But I'm not sure I can deal with a boring stock wallpaper.

I'm giving it a whirl. Thanks for the tip. I'll let everyone know how it goes for me. Right off the bat though I still have the unlock lag.
