Help Using the optical trackpad button to wake the phone

I tried no lock. It doesn't wake with the optical button. It also bypasses the unlock pattern, so I ditched it.

In my experience, NoLock has been the most reliable of all the current options. When I have my DI hooked up to my AUX line and USB power in my car, it works 100% of the time. It is so nice to just hit the trackpad button and fiddle with the phone in the car. No power button, no lock screen.

You may not want to change your home but I'm using pandahome and picked iphone lock style and now to wake my phone I can use the track pad.
I want to be able to wake the phone by pressing the trackpad button. (like the iPhone's home button, just converted :) ) I've looked around and can't seem to find a way to set this. I tried the "lockbot" app someone had recommended but it did more then i wanted and still didn't seem to enable that button to wake the phone. Any ideas?

bump..

great thread...no solution yet...wonder if any apps are now available...i am using No Lock temporarily

1.wake up without power button, and
2.keep slide lock active

it would be also nice if you can put the phone to sleep with a widget or something like that..

thanks

Widgetlocker has an option to use the trackpad on the dinc to wake the phone up. It works pretty well. Id recommend giving that a shot

So far, I like it! But I have a few problems...the Trackpad does not immediately un-wake the phone. Second, the volume controls wake up the phone, even when they are not checked to do so.
hmm..

I don't spose there's been any progress on making the track ball the wake up botton...? I tried NoLock, and it's so weird. Everytime the lockscreen comes on, it's a different screen and I have found no way to change it....
