Using your FC while working out/running

Those of you who carry your Fascinate while jogging or working out, do you take any special precautions re:moisture/sweat? how do you carry it (clip, armband, drop it in your pocket?)

I love using mine at the gym, can stream Pandora and also keep track of my work out with a Think Free office document. But am concerned with damaging it with sweat, so I carry it in my pocket with a ziplock bag; which does feel kind of dorky.
 
I bought the red silicon cover at the Verizon store for 19.99, total of 21.49 . I wanted the red and V was the only game in town. it fits snug and only have to clean the glass now.

the silicon is more grippier ??? than just the slick plastic.

i use my fascinate as a GPS in a commercial environment so i feel the cost is well worth the protection.

I would bet the silicone would protect in the areas it covers,but wouldn't it still be vunerable around the glass, speaker, microphone, etc?
 
I hold my Fascinate in my hand when I jog. I don't use a case. I don't worry about it slipping out if my hand. I seems the more I sweat, the more it sticks to my hand.
 
When I used it for jogging, I just kept it in my pocket with the headphones under my shirt. But I have since gotten paranoid and use an iPod shuffle since it has a clip and is very light with no screen to worry about breaking/scratching. And it was a gift to my wife and she never used it so it was just lying around.

Maybe if the GPS ever gets fixed I will use it again to track when I run outside
 
I'm planning on trying an armband case originally intended for the ipod touch. Form factors are looking close between the Fascinate and the iTouch 4. We'll see how it works...
 
Yeah indeed my son has the ipod 4 and its considerably small than the SF. Having said that depending on the case design it might still work. YMMV

I use a water proof/resistant spibelt (look up spibelt.com) it fits the SF perfectly. I also place it in a snack size ziplock bag for extra protection against moisture. The ziplock allows me to touch the screen settings for RunKeeper without getting the phone all mucky from my sweaty hands.
 
Went to BestBuy to look for an armband the other day. I figured an iphone4 or itouch would do but it did not. The opening to slip the phone in is to small. You could get it in there but would probably do some damage over time. You might be able to modify the opening but it still would be a really tight fit and there would be a lot of pressure on the screen.

Disappointing to say the least. I will keep searching.
