Root v1.1 up for testing ***Umph Kernelv1 Now With Oddball***

nevermind.... un-checking "apply on boot" lets it change immideatly but it does change back after unlock. DAMNIT!!!

oh well hopefully pwn can try to fix it

I have a feeling it's something with the OC tables since he used Doomlord's and I just tried v01 and v02 of doomlord's and got the same problem.

well im using his OC tables, and i dont really understand how he set it up, but when i tried it wouldnt boot, so i think im gunna leave that up to him to fix it, in the meantime what do u guys think? make a version with no OC but with UV and all the rest of the settings?

UV?? Under voltage?

Not sure, I LOVE the speed of the OC

I'd like that. Would it be like the original test 11 with the additional settings?

How are you checking to make sure? I have no-frills installed with SetCPU, I then set in no-frills, go to setcpu, lock, unlock, and it's showing it resets. I don't see an option to check governors or minimum in no-frills.

EDIT:
I uninstalled, re-installed SetCPU denying superuser privileges. It still shows it resetting with no-frills. I have a feeling you guys are thinking it's working, but the min is actually 245 after locking and you just don't know.
i've rebooted... sleep mode and still set ar 1.8 for me.. so yea no frills works.

It's not that 1.8GHz works. It's what governor you are using, and the min of 122 that doesn't work. Mine will work at 1.9GHZ max, 245MHz min ondemand gov just fine. However, if you change the governor to anything else besides ondemand, it'll reset back to ondemand. Same for 122 min, it'll reset back to 245. The max won't reset unless you use some governors, like Scary that'll reset to 245/245 for me. So nofrills works the same as SetCPU...there is no difference.

Uninstall set cpu if you have no frills also... that might help.. my settings stay with just no frills installed!

after boot after sleep mode

umph v1 worked great; umph v1.2 wont let me overclock at all without random and frequent reboots; went back to v1 :)

This was already tried. I bet your settings are ondemand governor with min 245MHz and max 1.8GHz. Of course it'll work...it'll work in SetCPU and any other CPU manager. The problem is the GOVERNORS and 122 MIN!!!! AH!

oh really? AFTER BOOT! and after sleep mode.

Even so, you are still getting 1.8 max correct?

Yea, but he is saying that his 122MHz and performance governor stick after lock-unlock. But clearly it doesn't. His reset to 245MHz min with ondemand governor, like I thought.

The problem is not the MAX CPU, but the MIN CPU and the Governors not sticking after lock-unlock.

not dumb enlightened.. i do still stay at 1.8 though... iand i did this 6-7 times... and after reeboot 5 of the reboots and sleep modes stayed in tact...where as with set cpu.. every reboot and every sleep mode reverted right back to stock.

Mine stays set at max 1.9GHz min 245MHz ondemand governor from SetCPU. So idk...no one else reported any problems with SetCPU reverting to stock using ondemand gov.

got v1 kernel working great with setcpu. no lock/unlock problems and i havent done any reboots or set on reboot option and everything is working perfectly. will test for a couple days to make sure i don't get any random reboots or anything like such, but got all my profiles setup and im running 1.7ghz while not charging and 1.9ghz while charging through usb and it seems to be doing amazing. pulled a 3963 with AnTuTu benchmark and a 2600 with Quadrant. God I Love This Device!!!!

hahaha forgot i got all my minimums set to 122 and they are also working properly and efficiently.
