Sorry if this has been asked but I couldn't find the answer after much searching. I just finally upgraded from MIKG 2.53 to 2.61. Once I did this I went back in to set up my V6 and the whole look changed. I tried running it the same way as I did when I had 2.53 but it did not work. I selected run as root then went in and found the v6 script but that is where it changed. There is no option to check for run as root. I pressed ok anyways, selected 0 thn 8 then 17 but then it just keeps prompting me to enter 0-17. Can anyone please help????

Yeah they updated scriptmanager.

Simply hit the help button and it will show you which one is run at root and which one is run at boot.

So do I run it the exact same way. Just the view has changed or has the actual script changed as well?

Im still having issues with installing the V6. I run as root and then select options 0, 8, 17 but then it prompts me to pick 1-17 again and doesnt say exit code 0 in green at the top. It says [[:not found please enter option [1-17]:

any help!!!

ok, trying to understand what you're trying to do here... first, what is option 0? at the most you should use option 7, super ul...

0 Changes your scrolling speed to whip right through everything.

I use 8 at well, and so do many others on here. It says its for phones with more memory than ours, but I haven't noticed any issues because of it.

Also:
Make sure you arent scolling through the text options manually on the touchscreen. That adds characters to your selection and even by deleting them it will give you that error code. If it does, simply add your selection again (8), and it should work.

If you want to read through what it is showing you, dont select option 0 to begin with.

i have noticed that if you keep your finger to the far right of the screen, you do not get the characters... it can be a bit touchy but that seems to work well for me...
