Root v6 Supercharger... AWESOME

New update on these scripts as of January 29. V6 SuperCharger update 9 RC5.2 and KAK update 3 RC3.1.

Just ran these and my phone seems snappier. There is also an update for the 3g TurboCharger but that gave me Wi-Fi issues so
I stayed with the previous update.

Okay, I made a widget for script manager after running V6 supercharger and rebooting. Do I have to press that widget every time I reboot and run the script in the background? I am a noob, and have no idea what I am doing....... ;)

you need to find the 99supercharger and 98kernal scripts. select them, and select run as root, and run at boot.

they're both located in /data

AND be careful! I hope you have GNM's recovery in case you mess something up.

What option number (1-31) works best for the Commando? Also, does it matter what different
launchers and browser you use

Okay, I ran the 99supercharger. It pretty much just told me that my supercharge is complete. I cannot find the 98kernal....

i use option 6. others use option 5. i also went ahead and tried the nitro lag nullifier, but doesn't seem to do much.

with the KAK, i also installed the optional IO tweaks.

and 3G turbo charger i've gotten pretty good results with experimental 2, null values.

edit: did you only install the V6 turbo charger? the 98kickasskernal.sh only shows up after you install the kick ass kernal.
also, make sure you select run as root and run at boot in script manager for 99supercharger.sh

Forget my one post. I went back into the script and understand it better. Now I need to figure out which setting works best for my device.

what wi-fi issues were you having? my 3g works, my wifi works, but my wifi keeps turning on by itself.

I'm trying to find answers in the xda forums, but that stuff is like waaaay over my head.

i actually had this problem with the last version of the script, and it even did this with the wifi fixer. it EVENTUALLY fixed itself without me doing anything. did you have to use the wifi fixer?

I'm not running the most current update, i'm still at the previous one, but i've gone through 3 of the older ones and none have caused the wifi issue

OK, I uninstalled everything, rebooted, installed v6supercharger, installed kak, rebooted. wifi worked, would turn off and on without problems. installed 3g turbocharger, rebooted, and everything is working fine. then i dropped my phone in the toilet.

My Wi-Fi wouldn't turn on. It would give me an ERROR message. I tried the Wi-fixer but only got the same result. Ill try running the new 3g script again tonight. Hopefully I can get Wi-Fi to work for me.

I uninstalled all the scripts, wifi wouldn't work, did wifi fixer, wifi worked, reinstalled everything and rebooted when it said I should. Everything works.... Better too.

Installed all new updated Scripts(V6 Update 9 RC6, KAK RC 4, 3G RC4) and got WiFi working. :D

you notice anything funky about your GPS? I don't know if it has anything to do with the scripts, but that's the only thing that's changed on my phone since yesterday besides a few apps updating.

edit: standalone GPS services won't turn on. If I hit the checkbox then check with Phone Tester, GPS doesn't register. If I select the checkbox and reboot, GPS will turn on, but not turn off. I can unselect the checkbox, then I'll go to google maps or Phone Tester and it's automatically back on even in location and security settings. If I unselect it, then unselect google location services, they both have check marks.

If I unselect standalone GPS services, don't open anything that might request GPS, then reboot, I can turn off the GPS.

Everything is working fine on my phone. No issues with GPS or any other app.
