V6 Supercharger

i tried to install it from that link thats in that post but it says fail many times ,but i will try until i install it

Its failing because you need to mount r/w access. Download busybox installer then read post #8 in this very thread and do as it says then open the busybox installer app and try it.

I can't install it neither.
I keep getting "Failed to downloadbusy box 1.18.2"
Is the site down or something? :(
It can't be permissions cause it doesn't even initiate a download at all. And not to mention I am using both SuperManager and EsExplorer to give EVERYTHING r/w access. (User, group and others! )
Someone else getting this?

Yeah... it's not the coolest thing to ever happen... :(
sniff, sniff...

I guess I'll just have to wait and try again later today... patience is a virtue, apparently. Or so they say.

Srry it didnt wrk for you guys, it was probably just a coincidence :'( I was having the same issue and I just gave my file manager r/w access and it went thru and it wrkd for others (or so we thought) but it sounds like it was something else that was the issue and it was just timing tht made it seem like it wrkd.

EDIT:
I just seen a post by Zeppelinrox today over on XDA that said its the Busybox Installer app by (JRUMMY16) that's the cause for all the fails. All he said was "jrummy16 is being a pita right now"

The Busybox in Basix is actually compatible with the script - it seems just a few symlinks are missing.

I can never get the settings to stick on reboot.
Goes back to the previous memfrees.
Yes, I also tried having the script it makes in system/etc/init.d run at boot as root.

Anyone else have this problem??

MY REPORT FOR OPTION 9

Well... I been using this option ever since this been on the forum. Its cool and speedy... my phone feels brand new. BUT today at work while my phone was on the charger, it lit up and i see that my phone did a media scan. And I also saw that all my widgets were blank... Keep in my mind i havent turned my phone off in about 2 and a half days so Im not sure if that has anything to do with it. So all I did was a reboot, loaded up supercharger and option 9 again and another reboot... now im going to see if that happens again.

Anyone running any other options?

I went back and downloaded the newest version out which is Update9_beta6.2.2 and it actually suggests which option you should use for your phone, its pretty cool. If you plan on updating you should knw that the #order has changed for the options to reboot and exit the script its no longer #16/17 I think they are now #25/26. It suggested that I use his options for 512HP which has 3 different settings and they are; Aggressive, Gaming, Multitasking. He says that the script only gives a suggestion and you can use any settings you like and there's all types ; ). Fyi, you can find the updated file by clicking the 1st link of this thread, then ull see "most recent files are here" click that link then scroll all the way dwn until you see "Attached Files" it will be the one at the bottom, its zipped so after you download it just extract all then place the file on the root of your SD and run it like b4.

everything was working like magic until i did my first reboot and found out that i had lost all my root rights,,,,,and then what now?

Umm. Try rebooting without the script as well. I've not heard the script being able to remove root...
It's not in the source code. You can read it. It does not modify su in anyway ...
