[Verizon] AOKP & BAMF for 4.0.4?

Hey guys. I'm pretty jealous of most of you as I updated my phone to 4.0.4 and couldn't get any of the nice ROMS..... and when I decided to try... I noticed I encountered a lot of errors.

Anyway, any guess on when we might see a 4.0.4 ROM?

there is already a 4.0.4 Axiom/AOKP crossbreed ROM.

it is basically all the goodies of 4.0.4, toss in Axioms tweaks, and AOKP MODS. its a sick ROM. had good success with it. it is not built from source (obviously since 4.0.4 source has not been released) but it is still really quick and bug free from what i saw.

once 4.0.4/5 source drops in AOSP you will see all current ROMs get updated.
DEVs like to compile from source. they dont like throwing some stuff on leaked software.

Thanks for that info I looked into it for about an hour now and it looks great! Trying to get a download for it currently but it seems like all the links are down anywhere I check. Does anyone have a link that's still active?

Call me stupid. I don't see much difference between 4.0.3 and 4.0.4. I'm on aokp m4... I do like axiom, though, too.

I too would like to try a ROM for 4.0.4, but am a lil paranoid about bricking the secure element where as I have installed gwallet.

How long does it generally take Google to release the source? Didn't they release source for 4.0.2 the day we were introduced to the Gnex? And obviously source for 4.0.3 was released soon after they released that build.

no one really knows how long it will take for new source. However new source isn't going to help with signal issues and things of that nature. That requires firmware updates.

I agree with steven i don't really see the great Need to be running .4 right now. I'm currently liking B.A.M.F with leankernel. Redemption Rom is nice as well.

So what do I need to do to run BAMF if I am on 4.0.4. ???? I am guessing from what was said I cannot just dl, wipe and install, but need to change the baseband back from the FA02 ???

oh I did nandroid my 4.0.3 rom, I guess I can just restore that then flash the BAMF?
