Tried to charge me but it was declined by Chase for potential fraud. Debating if I should call just yet or wait another day.

Yep I pre ordered on September 12. Pay full price for the phone . Verizon charge my debit card today . No tracking number on verizon check order status site yet though. Still says 10/10 Although I called Verizon * 611. And Ask robot to check order status. Robot replied "your order has been processed and shipped, it should arrive in 2 business days" then was given the option to get tracking number, but robot burped and wouldn't give me one. I suspect it will be on there later tonight. I might get this baby a day early on the 9th! Worst case 10th! Yahoo

I pre-ordered full price also. I preordered on Sept 20th. I check my chase and I have a "pending" from VzW for $752.49. I went to the VzW site earlier today, and its changed. No tracking number, but the display is now a box that would hold a tracking number.
no big surprise though. its 10/7 and they said ship by the 10th. So I fully expected it then, anything earlier is gravy.
(I heard they got root without tripping Know on the ATT version, over on xda. Hope they get it quickly for VzW also!)

Just chatted with a CSR who was able to re-apply the payment. At first, they wanted me to re-do the order, but I explained about the unlimited data being lost if I did that and they went ahead and did it. I did have to send my order confirmation to a supervisor and add the credit card in question to the account, but they were able to do it. Also note, then when chatting, make sure to select Financial Services as they are the ones that can help. I tried with a device upgrade guy last night and it was a non-starter. Hope it helps someone else.

Finally got my tracking number it seems to be coming late at like 8pm
I think thats just a default setting
Mine says thursday @ 8pm as well
Its only in PA (im in NY) so I dont think its without the realm of possability that i could get it tomorrow

whether you want to or not is a different question, but sometimes I'll leave a note on the door for the fedex guy saying I'm expecting a package from XYZ, I give permission to leave it at the door. Sometimes this works, sometimes not. the "signature required" has meant different things in the past. Not sure about phones. never had one delivered
that said, my order status hasnt listed the actual tracking number yet.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but don't hold your breath that you get it tomorrow. I thought that I would get my S3 & Note 2 a day earlier when I pre-ordered b/c I live in Memphis where they were shipped from. Nope, still took the 2 days just like everybody else.

Had to re-order today, chase marked transaction as fraud
I got two calls, a text, and an email from chase fraud department on Monday. I couldn't respond because I was in a meeting at the time. I called them up after and approved the transaction. Why did you have to reorder? Did VZW cancel the order? or did Chase decline the transaction completely?
