verizon charged me today

I got two calls, a text, and an email from chase fraud department on Monday. I couldn't respond because I was in a meeting at the time. I called them up after and approved the transaction. Why did you have to reorder? Did VZW cancel the order? or did Chase decline the transaction completely? :(


I received an email and a text asking if this transaction was fraud, I replied to them both within five minutes, and I said they were not. checked my card the next morning and it said, review declined transaction. called Chase and the alerts were for them to know if they had to suspend my card, and that I would need to have verizon resend the charges. It was easier to have CSR look and find a new phone then to try refilling the first order. As long as I kept my unlimited I didn't mind.
 
Verizon rep from my local store called and said I can pick it up at 4:30 tomorrow. :) ill be there at 8:00 am with my face pressed against the glass.
 
This will not answer the question of "do you want to", but to those asking "do I ..have.. to" be home to sign it.

According to FedEx (at least for me order) its an "indirect delivery signature required". which means...

Indirect Signature Required: FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, building manager or someone at a neighboring address; or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present.

FWIW: I've used just a note taped to the door, since if you miss delivery, they leave the door tag, then you leave that door tag on the door for the next day. It might depend on the driver, but its worked for me. And since the 8pm delivery time is nonsense, I might just do the note thing again. (its a safe neighborhood for me to do that)
 
Anyone know if its possible to just pick your phone up from FedEx directly?

From your local facility yes. But that might not be very close. You'll need to call customer service give tracking number. Depending on where in shipment, it might work, or could delay you. Why delay? Example, if its already been loaded onto a truck for tomorrows delivery. I've done this. I've even gone to my local facility and waited for the truck to return ( by me that is after 8pm if I recall) to get it.
 
I pre-ordered on Sept 18. I've had a charge from Verizon in the "activity today" page on my bank account since Oct 8. My order status on Verizon says that is in process and doesn't give me a ship date. Anyone else experiencing something like this?
 
Well just a heads up for anyone that says "scheduled to be delivered @ 8pm"

Mine just got here around 10:30am

So yeah
